Amazing time with lots of baby animals We had an amazing time on our two day safari in Mburo Lake National Park. Adam was our driver/guide and he was very knowledgeable about all the animals and the park. It is a long day of driving both to and from Kampala as it is about 5 hours each way, but very worth it to see the fun animals. Unfortunately there are very few predators in the park so we were unable to see any leopards, however, we saw many baby animals including giraffes, baboons, hippos and zebras. Our stay at the eagle's nest was wonderful with yummy food and great views. During our time parts of the grass were being burned so there was some smoke and burnt grassy areas, but it is necessary to maintain the health of the grasslands. So maybe if you can avoid August, that would be better. All in all a great trip. Can recommend as a weekend activity!

Definitely get out of Kampala and check these spots out! Paddy & Patricia were absolutely fantastic looking after me on this luxury safari experience. The care for the customer is excellent with this company. Paddy was an absolute gent, great rapport with every company and stop we had during the trip. He looked out for me having an eggless breakfast, nothing was trouble for the team. So relaxing and fun. My highlight was seeing the giraffes and leopard & lions in Murchison and the Devil's cauldron.

4th tour with this company and second review It’s actually my second review for this tour operator which should already speak volumes. I’ve just returned from my fourth in Uganda with Simba and once again they delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The team truly knows how to craft seamless, exciting, and stress-free journeys. Both for trips with friends or my family. From the very first inquiry to the last day of our trip, their team was always quick to respond. Even when we had a few last-minute changes to our room bookings during the safari. They handled everything promptly. Each safari was led by knowledgeable, friendly guides who clearly love what they do. Their insights into wildlife behaviour, the parks, and local cultures added so much value to the trip. Everything was organised exactly as requested. From comfortable transportation and quality lodges (including the exact lodges and room arrangements requested by us) to well-timed transfers and game drives. When comparing options with other operators, I found Simba to be very fairly priced with no hidden fees or surprises. Their transparency and honesty in pricing made it easy to plan and budget for the trip with confidence. The payment was easy as well. They offered me payment by bank transfer or by card. Look no further if you’re planning your next safari in East Africa.

Wonderful trip to Nyungwe We had an amazing experience traveling with Simba African Expeditions for our 5 day trip in Rwanda. Patricia answered very efficiently to all our requests and helped us customize the trip to our liking. During our trip Tonny was a great guide. He was patient, drove responsibly and made arrangements with all our activities so they went smoothly, we felt very well taken care of! During our trip we spent our time around Nyungwe national park and lake Kivu. The scenery was beautiful and with our itinerary we got to both have an active holiday with chimpanzee trekking, hiking and kayaking, as well as calmer activities like visiting a coffee plantation. Would recommend traveling with Simba Africa expeditions and Rwanda as a destination :)

Outstanding Safaris with Simba African Expeditions I recently travelled with Simba African Expeditions, owned by Moses Nadduli in Kampala, Uganda — and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I’ve known Moses for over 20 years and can vouch for his professionalism, integrity, and genuine passion for showcasing the real Africa. Every part of the trip was perfectly organized — from the stunning wildlife and breathtaking landscapes to the smooth logistics and warm hospitality. Moses and his team made us feel safe, cared for, and completely immersed in East Africa’s beauty and culture. If you’re looking for a reliable and authentic safari experience, I can’t recommend Simba African Expeditions highly enough. Would definitely travel with them again!
